Stephanie J. Smith, MD

and Interventional Pain Management

Dr. Stephanie J. Smith was born in Atlanta, Georgia and completed undergraduate studies at Atlanta University/Clark College. She attended medical school training at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, followed by specialty training in Anesthesiology/Pain Management at the University of Kentucky in Lexington KY. During this time, Dr. Smith served as a Medical Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserves.

Bringing more than 25 years of pain management experience and practice to Non-Surgical Orthopedics is an exciting next step. Dr. Smith looks forward to continuing to reduce patients’ pain that will allow them to partake in a more comfortable lifestyle and extension of activities. She is especially interested in new advances in pain management and being able to offer effective non-surgical therapies.

Dr. Smith is supportive of multimodal therapies including medication management, physical therapy, psychological support, and rehabilitation to maximize responses. Working with patients input, our TEAM approach leads to patient forward care and successful outcomes.

In her spare time, Dr. Smith loves gardening, and recently started to attempt crossbreeding and hybrid planting. With a large family, Dr. Smith enjoys family dinners and gatherings surrounded by her loved ones. Dr. Smith is a proud dog parent to her Belgium Malinois where you can frequently find them spending time outside training.
