Precision Spine Care’s Dr. Aaron Calodney presented the results of a new medical study last week at the North American Neuromodulation Society meeting in Las Vegas. Dr. Calodney served as a Study Investigator for the SURF randomized clinical trial of a wirelessly powered Spinal Cord Stimulator. “The SURF RCT study, a prospective, randomized, multi-center clinical trial was the first ever pivotal study conducted utilizing a wirelessly powered Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) system comparing a variety of waveform options without a separate trialing device,” according to Stimwave Technologies, the company behind the development of the wireless spinal cord stimulator technology.

The FDA is currently reviewing the wireless Spinal Cord Stimulator technology ahead of market clearance. For more on this story, please visit stimwave.com…
