Betty Vale, APRN, FNP-C, ONP-C has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2008.  Prior to beginning her nursing and Nurse Practitioner career, she worked as a Chiropractor and owned her own chiropractic and nutrition business in Arizona.  She continues to maintain an active chiropractic license in Texas.  However, as someone who continually thirsts for knowledge and ways to treat and manage spine-related concerns, she chose to pursue and add additional degrees to help her patients.

She graduated with her MSN/FNP from Graceland University.  She worked in palliative medicine, internal medicine, pain management, and orthopedic surgery prior to joining the neurosurgical team.  She is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP and holds an additional Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner certification through NAON.

Betty understands both the provider and family aspects of managing spinal conditions.  Her mother has had multiple pain management procedures and extensive spinal surgery to regain her quality of life.  Betty has walked with her mother and helped her make decisions over this 20-year journey.

In her spare time, Betty enjoys painting, reading, and horseback riding.  She and her husband love nature and can often be found in the outdoors.
