To our valued patients:
We are pleased that Governor Abbott has released the executive order restricting elective procedures and surgeries. The Precision Spine Care physicians, leadership team and clinical operations are working diligently with our hospital partners to strategically implement schedules that will not overload their systems or ours. Outlined below are our most recent updates regarding COVID-19.

Procedure and Surgery Scheduling:
We are actively working on obtaining insurance pre-certifications for procedures and surgeries. Once we obtain a pre-certification, a member from our Scheduling Department will be in contact to schedule the patient’s procedure or surgery. We appreciate your patience as we work through a backlog of orders to get each of you scheduled timely. Please know this is a high priority for us, as we know it is important for you.

Upcoming Appointments:
Clinician schedules are reviewed daily. All patients with upcoming appointments will be contacted by a member of our team to discuss your options of an in person or virtual telemedicine visit. These options may vary based off your individual needs, but our commitment to bring you access to quality spine and pain care remains our focus. Reducing the Spread and Universal Masking:
Reducing the spread and exposure of this virus is a community effort. We will continue to hold screenings upon entrance to the clinic, continue heightened lobby practices, social distancing measures, heightened sanitation and personal hygiene practices, and encourage virtual telemedicine visits if possible. However, if a visit to our clinic is necessary we are implementing universal masking for all patients and accompanied guest. Preserving our personal protective equipment (PPE) inventory is important; therefore, we ask that you bring your own mask with you. Cloth masks are acceptable. All employees will continue the use of PPE as a safeguard measure, as well. To ensure we abide by the social distancing measures and not overcrowd our lobby, waiting in your car until your treatment time is preferred. You will still need to check in upon arrival and provide your mobile number to the Front Desk.

The CDC has updated and expanded the signs and symptoms of COVID-19. Therefore, if you are experiencing a combination of any of the signs and symptoms listed, we must reschedule your appointment for a later date. Signs and symptoms now include: fever, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache or new loss of taste or smell.
