Fellowship-Trained Interventional Pain Medicine
Dr. Matt Porter earned dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Psychology, as well as a Master's degree in Physical Therapy, from Southwest Baptist University. He went on to receive his medical degree from St. George's University, followed by residency training at Duke LifePoint Conemaugh Hospital. Dr. Porter then completed an Interventional Pain Medicine fellowship at the Florida Spine Institute, where he received advanced training in minimally invasive procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic pain.
A Longview resident since 2020, Dr. Porter is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to East Texas patients. He will be caring for patients in Lufkin, specializing in comprehensive pain management solutions designed to improve function, restore quality of life, and help patients return to the activities they enjoy.
